Each year, school boards are required to submit Three-Year Capital Plans to Alberta Education. These priorities are reviewed by the provincial government for consideration and it may take one or more years for their approval.

1. A new junior/senior high school in Cold Lake
2. A new building for Light of Christ Catholic School
3. A replacement school for École Notre Dame Elementary
4. A replacement school for St. Dominic Elementary
